There Are Lights - new short film in pre-production

We’re excited to announce that we’ve officially begun pre-production on our upcoming short film ‘There Are Lights’. The film is written and directed by Yorkshire based filmmaker Nadia Emam. Caitlin Bramwell and Maria Caruana Galizia are producing the film. The film is being funded by the BFI NETWORK and private finance.

Working on a new project

Like so many other businesses the last few months have been a big change for us. While we haven’t been able to make content for commercial video clients, or shoot films, we have been able to develop new ideas and edit videos using stock footage. One of the projects we’ve been working on is called Above The Line.

She Lives Alone concludes filming

We spent last week filming “She Lives Alone” in Waskerely and Stanhope, County Durham. The film, written and directed by Lucy Rose, stared Rachel Teate in the role of Maud, Lauryn Elise in the role of Eleanor and Karen Littlejohn in the role of the Mother.

The film is set in rural Cumbria, where Lucy grew up, and tells the story of Maud, a young woman trying to free herself from her oppressive and cruel mother, and take control of her life. Lucy’s story is inspired by the ghost stories and landscape of her childhood.
