Well, did it ever really feel like summer? With the sun only making a few fleeting appearances, the opportunity for drinking Pimm's and relaxing in our garden was reduced to a couple of hours on an unusually slow Saturday. Thankfully for us, we had sufficient work to keep us distracted from the disappointing weather.
Finishing ‘The Lost Girl’
After a year in post production we finally finished our short film The Lost Girl. The film screened to cast and crew in August and was met with rousing applause. The film has already been selected to screen at two prestigious film festivals, Aesthetica film festival in York and Canberra short film festival. We hope this is just the beginning for a film that took a lot of hard work to make.
Filming ‘A Six and Two Threes’
We were successful in securing funding from England's iShorts scheme for our film A Six and Two Threes. We shot the film on location in Stockton on Tees over 3 days and had a great time. The film is now finished and we're really excited about showing it to audiences.
Working With Some Great Clients
Over the summer we've made multiple videos for Generator and local startup Hero Hoodies. We're almost finished on an animation for the Community Foundation and as the season comes to a close, we're already looking at finishing off a number of projects with some great clients across the UK.
Looking Forward to the Rainy Season
Well who cares about the weather right? We've got some great projects in the pipeline and we're looking forward to the re-launch of our Short Film Night at the Tyneside Cinema on October 5th, supported by Northern Film and Media.
