We’re proud to announce that we have been selected for the 2024 BBC Audio and Music Indie Fund. The fund is allocated to indies to develop certain areas of their work in support of the BBC’s strategic priorities, with a focus on diverse-led companies and those based in the Nations and English Regions, allowing the BBC to better reflect, represent and serve all audiences.

It’s been a landmark summer for Candle & Bell producing our first sitcom for BBC Radio 4 and developing new ideas for audio. The money from the fund will help us develop new ideas with writers and also recruit a new EP for our Audio projects. We’re grateful to the BBC Audio and Radio team for their support and can’t wait to work closely with them over the coming year.
