After a brief hiatus due to the covid pandemic the awards returned to the Hilton at Gateshead. It was so lovely to be reunited with so many talented filmmakers, commissioners and producers from across the North East once again.

We’re pleased to announce that our comedy feature film MARWELL, written and directed by Benjamin Bee, has been granted a development award by the BFI Film Fund. The award will allow us to continue working on the script and begin to raise finance to make the film.
