We’re proud to announce that She Lives Alone will be screening at this years FRIGHTFEST. The festival began in 2000, and has since gained the reputation for screening some of the very best horror films around.

She Lives Alone concludes filming

We spent last week filming “She Lives Alone” in Waskerely and Stanhope, County Durham. The film, written and directed by Lucy Rose, stared Rachel Teate in the role of Maud, Lauryn Elise in the role of Eleanor and Karen Littlejohn in the role of the Mother.

The film is set in rural Cumbria, where Lucy grew up, and tells the story of Maud, a young woman trying to free herself from her oppressive and cruel mother, and take control of her life. Lucy’s story is inspired by the ghost stories and landscape of her childhood.
