Candle & Bell has been crafting content that inspires change, sparks conversation, and champions the creative future of the North East for over a decade.
We’ve been named one of the Top 50 Emerging Creative Companies in England, we’re part of PACT Future North East, BAFTA and two-time recipients of the BBC Small Indie Fund, and the Audio Indie Fund 2025.
Our services include video content production, production services across Newcastle and the North East, as well as Film, Television and Podcast production.
We’ve produced content for Sky Arts, BBC Radio 4, BBC Comedy and The British Film Institute. We’ve worked with big brands like Adidas, National Trust, the NHS and Pinterest.
Media Studios
Our facilities include green / blue screen studio, a 1433 square feet of drive-in studio, and podcast recording studio. We have rehearsal and fitting rooms, free parking, and we’re just 20 minutes from Newcastle city centre making us a convenient choice for all sizes of productions.
