In November 2024, The Cultural Spring celebrated its 10 year anniversary. The organisation has been a driving force in making the arts accessible to people in Sunderland and South Tyneside, empowering individuals and fostering local talent through its programs. Over the past ten years, the initiative has hosted countless workshops, performances, and projects that have brought people together and enriched lives through creative expression.

We’ve produced video content for them in the past, so we were delighted when they asked us to create a video celebrating this incredible milestone.

Considering the vast amount of work the Cultural Spring has done over the past 10 years, it was quite a challenge to figure out how to tell its story in just a short video. We enlisted the talents of Barry Hyde (singer for The Futureheads) and Sandra Naglis (community champion for the Cultural Spring) to narrate the mission and story of The Cultural Spring. We visited countless community projects, artists and events, collecting archive footage and gathering testimonials.

The final video was screened at a packed auditorium in The Fire Station Sunderland, and we are delighted with the response to it.
