Festival Success

Our short film The Lost Girl, written and directed by Laura Degnan, has just started its run on the film festival circuit and we’re pleased to say the reception it’s received has exceeded all expectation.

Canberra, York, London

The first screening was at the Canberra Short Film Festival where the film won Best Cinematography. Next up, was the Aesthetica Short Film Festival in York. 300 short films were screened over the course of 4 days. The standard of the films on show was exceptionally high so we were pleasantly surprised to find out that we were nominated for Best Drama.

The award eventually went to Stutterer, a deserved winner of the category, but we left the closing ceremony incredibly proud that so many people watched and enjoyed our film. We met a lot of filmmakers from across the world and it was a great opportunity to share ideas and make new contacts.

The film will screen next at the London Short Film Festival in January. We’re looking forward to a trip to the capital and sharing our work with a whole new audience.

A Six and Two Threes

Our short film A Six and Two Threes, written and directed by Andy Berriman, has also started its festival run. The film was completed in September and has been selected for the London Lift Off Festival.

Actor Shane Teasdale who plays Mack in the film has also been nominated for Best Actor. So we’re looking forward to a trip to the capital and hope to send you some good news too!

Commercial Projects

At the moment things are busy on the commercial front too as we wrap up videos for Hero Hoodies and RJ Thompson. We’re incredibly proud to be involved with the Being Human Festival 2015.

Having made the video for last years event, we’re incredibly excited to be working with the Humanities department at Northumbria University again. We’ve also got a few other projects in the pipeline that will be unlike anything we’ve made before and we can’t wait to share all our new work with you all.
